Scope of this notice
This notice covers the public Wrkr website, invitation requests, website examples and support enquiries. Paid workspace and billing disclosures will be supplied before paid access opens.
Who is responsible
Obra Inc operates the Wrkr website. Contact support@wrkr.dev for privacy questions or requests.
What we use and why
- Invitation requests
- Your email address, request time and the fact that the request came from this website. We use these to handle your request for access and avoid duplicate invitations. Without an email address, we cannot contact you about access.
- Support enquiries
- Your email address, message and information you choose to share, so we can answer questions, investigate problems and handle privacy or abuse reports. Do not send passwords, login codes or payment-card details.
- Website connections
- Your device sends technical information, including its IP address, when connecting to the website. We process connection information to deliver pages and limit abusive requests. The website application keeps rate-limit state temporarily in memory.
- Aggregate measurement
- Daily counts of page views, film plays and invitation clicks, plus saved invitation totals. These are counts, not unique-visitor profiles or a history linked to your email. Analytics stores no visitor identifier, URL, referrer or user-agent data.
Cookies, examples and external links
Website analytics does not use cookies or browser storage. It respects Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control. Fonts and the launch film are served from this website.
The sample catering directory saves fictional example entries in your browser’s session storage so its demonstration can work during the session. This is separate from analytics. Other examples may save sample order choices on our server; they are designed for fictional information and do not request payment or personal details.
If you follow an external link, that website’s own privacy practices apply.
Who helps us operate the website
Hetzner provides website infrastructure and the email service used for support notifications. Authorized people working on Wrkr can access invitation records and support messages when needed to respond, operate the service or address a security issue.
We may disclose relevant information when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect people, investigate abuse or establish legal claims. We do not sell invitation addresses or use website analytics for targeted advertising.
Website infrastructure is hosted in Europe. Support may be handled from other countries, so this is not a promise that all processing stays in Europe. Contact us for information about the processing relevant to your request.
How long information is kept
Aggregate measurement covers the latest 90 calendar days; older buckets are removed on the next measurement write. Temporary rate-limit entries expire after one minute and are cleared from memory during subsequent requests or a server restart.
We keep invitation records while needed to handle the access request and prevent duplicate contact. Support correspondence and notification receipts are kept while needed to resolve the enquiry and maintain relevant operational records. We assess retention according to whether the request remains active, unresolved support issues and legal recordkeeping needs.
You can ask to withdraw an invitation request or remove your information. Removal must cover the active request list, notification records and relevant mailbox copies. Private website backups may also contain earlier records; any necessary retained copies must be restricted and not used to resume contact. We will explain applicable retention exceptions when responding to a request.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to stop invitation contact at any time by emailing support@wrkr.dev. You can also ask about access, correction or removal of your personal information. Where applicable law provides them, you may request portability or restriction, object to processing or withdraw consent without affecting earlier lawful processing.
We may need proportionate information to verify a request before disclosing or changing data. We respond within applicable legal time limits. You can complain to your local data-protection authority, including the UK Information Commissioner’s Office where relevant.
Basis for processing
Where a legal basis is required, we handle an invitation request to take steps at your request before a possible service agreement. We rely on our legitimate interests in operating and securing the website, responding to enquiries and understanding aggregate interest, subject to your rights. We comply with applicable legal obligations and use consent where required for any separate optional communication.
This website does not make solely automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects about you. The invitation list is not an automated credit or eligibility assessment.
Security and changes
The website uses HTTPS. Access to operational records is limited to people who need it. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.
We will update this notice when the website’s data practices change and show the revision date. Materially different uses require the notices or choices applicable law requires.
